Review
Cleartouch Software Corporation from Pakistan have developed a bidirectional dictionary of English and Urdu especially for students and for those persons who want to built and improve their English and Urdu language skills and vocabulary. Their Cleantouch Urdu dictionary has a simple and user friendly user interface. But it is not very attractive program and has odd color combinations. So those users who love attractive applications may not like its user interface. Well, you can search Urdu meanings of any word by typing or just by selecting it from the list of all words, available in one of its box. Please don't try wildcard search on this kid. In the home of dictionaries this kid doesn’t know anything about wildcard.
If you want to use this dictionary in reverse order, I mean to say if you want to look English meaning of an Urdu word then you have to type Urdu word and then you have to press Tab key. It may be typical for some users. And if you don't know Urdu typing then you may use its Urdu keyboard help. But you can not use this keyboard with your mouse because it is just a help window, and by using this you can learn Urdu typing also.
According to its features I think 25$ price tag is very high. But you may try its demo before purchase. |
